HBO orders full season of Watchmen TV series

HBO’s adaptation of the classic graphic novel Watchmen is officially coming to small screens. After ordering a pilot episode last year, the network has picked up the show for a full first season. The network didn’t reveal what exactly the show will be about instead saying it’s set in an alternate history where “superheroes” are treated as outlaws,” which will embrace “the nostalgia” for Alan Moore’s original graphic novel, and will “break new ground of its own.” The new Watchman series will debut on HBO sometime in 2019.

A new edition is coming of The Nightmare Before Christmas!

Christmas is coming early for you pumpkin king fans, it’s the Nightmare before christmas 25th anniversary this year.We’re getting a pretty sweet blu ray with a throwback Disney sing-a-long edition. It feels like I’m joking, can’t believe it came out 25 years ago, but I digress. If you loved everything Danny Elfman scored in this Tim Burton Classic, you should pick up the blu-ray movie and sing a long edition when it’s out Tuesday, Sept. 2nd

Twilight is returning to theaters

Love it or hate it, Twilight is returning to theaters for a special engagement run in October, from Fathom Events. Accompanying the theatrical run, a new special 10 year edition 4k Blu-ray set is being released. This is a first for Fathom Events, as they begin re-showing more contemporary popular films.
