If you have trouble sleeping, you’ve already tried every real trick in the book by the time you see this one. Let me preface this with there is no science behind why I picked these songs other than, they have a nice relaxing tempo.
Music is a great tool for relaxation and while being relaxed doesn’t guarantee sleep, it’s definitely going to get you a lot closer. As someone with insomnia, I have found music to helpful when trying to successfully nap. This playlist is also a good one to have on in the background while the baby is sleeping. It’s not “Baby Shark” and it won’t get too aggressive sounding and wake them up. Here are my favorite songs currently on my naptime approved playlist.
1. “Just Like Heaven” – The Cure
2. “Fix You” – Coldplay
3. “Madness” – Muse
4. “Agnes” – Glass Animals
5. “Strange Habit” – July Talk
6. “Ocean Eyes” – Billie Eilish
Her first song.
Album: Don’t Smile At Me

7. “Wild Horses” – Bishop Briggs
8. “Partners in Crime” – Finneas
9. “Such Great Heights” – The Postal Service
10. “Slow it Down” – The Lumineers
Some classics. Some deep cuts. I’ll have to share my whole playlist one day. These are the ones that haven’t gotten the boot over time. What song is able to soothe you? Let us know in the comments.
