Arcade Fire debuted a new song during The Late Show host Stephen Colbert‘s Showtime Election Night 2020 special Tuesday.

In introducing the track, which is called “Generation A,” Colbert described it as being “inspired by the current climate of the country with a hopeful message to the youths.” You can watch the performance streaming now on YouTube.

“Generation A” follows Arcade Fire’s 2017 album Everything Now. The band has been working on a new record amid the COVID-19 pandemic.
