Band of Horses has premiered the video for “Crutch,” the lead single off the band’s upcoming album, Things Are Great.

The clip stars a batch of adorable cats doing adorable cat things, although throughout the clip, some of the kitties have frontman Ben Bridwell‘s face superimposed on their own faces singing the song, which perhaps fans of the 2019 musical film Cats will find adorable. Bridwell’s face also is superimposed on various toys, dolls and other items during the video.

Things Are Great, the sixth Band of Horses album, arrives January 21, 2022. It’s the follow-up to 2016’s Why Are You OK.
