It’s an exciting time for Beabadoobee.
The rising musician — aka Bea Kristi — scored a hit with her Powfu collaboration “Death Bed (Coffee for Your Head),” and she just released her debut full-length album Fake It Flowers Friday. Additionally, she tells NME that she’s been working with Matty Healy and George Daniel of The 1975 on new music.
“It was one of the nicest experiences of my life,” Kristi says of working with the duo. “It was the most wholesome time — just dogs and good food.”
As for when we’ll get to hear the collaboration, though, Kristi isn’t saying too much.
“It’s a little thing coming out after the album, but it’s a secret,” she teases.
While you wait for that, you can listen to Fake It Flowers and its single “Care,” which currently sits in the top 25 on the Billboard Alternative Airplay chart.
