Billie Eilish and Glass Animals are among the nominees for Nickelodeon’s 2022 Kids’ Choice Awards 2022.
The “bad guy” artist is up for Favorite Female Artist, as well as Favorite Album and Favorite Song for her sophomore effort Happier than Ever and its title track, while the “Heat Waves” outfit will compete for the Favorite Breakout Artist prize.
The 2022 KCAs will take place April 9, and will be hosted by iCarly star Miranda Cosgrove and NFL player Rob Gronkowski. Voting is open now via KidsChoiceAwards.com.
In addition to being fellow Kids’ Choice Awards nominees, Eilish and Glass Animals are also both nominees at this year’s Grammys, taking place April 3. And as of this week, the two artists also have another thing in common: They’ve both notched number-one Billboard Hot 100 hits. Glass Animals’ “Heat Waves” finally reached the top spot this past Monday after a record breaking 59 weeks on the chart, while Eilish hit number one in 2019 with “bad guy.”
