Blink-182 will release a new album in 2021, if Travis Barker is to be believed.
In the comments of a recent Instagram post by the drummer, a fan asked Barker if there’s “any new Blink-182 albums dropping this year?” In an all caps response, Barker replied, “YES.”
Blink has been working on new tunes since at least last year, and the band released a COVID-19-themed song called “Quarantine” over the summer. In a Rock Sound interview, producer John Feldmann characterized the sound of the upcoming material as “super classic Blink.”
The most recent Blink-182 album is 2019’s Nine, which spawned the singles “Blame It on My Youth” and “I Really Wish I Hated You.”
