Hayley Williams, SHAED and Missio have fresh tunes for you this New Music Friday.

The Paramore frontwoman has officially released her cover of “Colour Me In,” originally recorded by the English band Broadcast. The cover had previously been only been available as part of Good Music to Avert the Collapse of American Democracy, a compilation released last fall in support of voter registration efforts.

“I really love Broadcast,” Williams says. “It was hard to choose which song of theirs I wanted to cover, but I feel like this one hits me in a sweet spot that’s strangely comforted by longing and melancholy.”

“I recorded this days before lockdown last year and it’s just been floating around in the ether,” she adds. “So happy it’s got a place to land now. Enjoy.”

SHAED has shared a remix of “Part Time Psycho,” the Two Feet-featuring single off the trio’s upcoming debut album, High Dive. The remix was created by 18-year-old producer Lamorn.

“Lamorn completely flipped this track into a dance bop,” says SHAED’s Spencer Ernst. “Love love love the vocal hooks he created, which were completely unexpected, and pure ear candy.”

High Dive is due out May 14. It also includes the previously released single “No Other Way” and the ZAYN duet version of the hit “Trampoline.”

Missio has dropped a cover of the Flaming Lips classic “Do You Realize??” It’s included on the “Middle Fingers” duo’s just-released Skeletons III EP, featuring “stripped-back cinematic arrangements” of past songs in their catalog.
