
After revealing the nominees for the 2021 Grammy rock categories, the Recording Academy has unveiled the nominees for the so-called ‘Big Four’ categories: Album of the Year, Song of the Year, Record of the Year and Best New Artist.
Coldplay‘s Everyday Life and HAIM‘s Women in Music Pt. III will compete for the Album of the Year title. Billie Eilish‘s “everything i wanted” is up for Song and Record of the Year. At the 2020 Grammys, Eilish won all four of the major categories.
Additionally, indie-folk artist Phoebe Bridgers, who’s nominated in several rock categories, is up for Best New Artist.
Other nominees include Beastie Boys‘ Beastie Boys Story and ZZ Top‘s That Little Ol’ Band from Texas for Best Music film, and Eilish’s James Bond theme “No Time to Die” for Best Song Written for Visual Media.
The 2021 Grammys, hosted by The Daily Show‘s Trevor Noah, will air January 31 on CBS.
