Coldplay performing new single, “Higher Power,” on the 2021 Brits

Coldplay is performing during this years Brits, the U.K. equivalent of the Grammys.

Chris Martin and company will play their new single, “Higher Power,” during the ceremony. The performance will take place on a boat — specifically, a pontoon — floating down the River Thames in England.

The 2021 Brits take place May 11, and you can watch the show streaming live starting at 3 p.m. ET on YouTube. Other performers include Rag’n’Bone Man and Pink, who’ll sing their collaborative single “Anywhere Away from Here,” as well as Dua Lipa, Olivia Rodrigo and Arlo Parks.

“Higher Power,” which follows Coldplay’s 2019 double album, Everyday Life, will be released this Friday, May 7. The band will give the track its live debut during a performance on ABC’s American Idol this Sunday, May 9.
