Set your “Clocks”: it’s Coldplay Week on American Idol.

Chris Martin and company are set to perform on a special Mother’s Day episode of ABC’s reality singing competition, during which they’ll be giving their upcoming new single, “Higher Power,” its live debut. Also during the episode, Martin will be a guest mentor to the seven remaining contestants.

You can tune in to watch this Sunday, May 9, at 8 p.m. ET on ABC.

“Higher Power” will officially be released this Friday, May 7. It follows Coldplay’s 2019 double album, Everyday Life, which features the singles “Orphans” and “Champion of the World.”
