Coldplay is continuing to reach for the stars with a new video for “Higher Power,” the band’s latest single.
The neon-tinted clip finds Chris Martin and company transported to Kaotica, an alien planet filmed with dancing monsters and robot dogs.
“The video is a metaphor for how, right now, we all feel alienated, far removed from our world, almost like we’re on an alien planet,” says director Dave Meyers. “Ultimately we find love in the streets and that euphoria shoots us off into the stratosphere of our own energy and higher power.”

“Higher Power” first dropped last month alongside a video that premiered on the International Space Station. That clip found Coldplay performing the songs on a construction site while surrounded by holographic dancers.
