Dan Reynolds and Aja Volkman are donating the Imagine Dragons frontman’s Las Vegas childhood home to Encircle, a charity organization that “provides community resource houses to LGBTQ+ youth and their families.”

The donation comes as a part of Encircle’s newly launched $8 Million, 8 Houses campaign, which aims to raise money to build eight new homes in four different states.

In a statement, husband-and-wife Reynolds and Volkman say, “Encircle is about bringing young LGBTQ+ people and their families together, by including the community and strengthening the bonds that connect us.”

“Being a part of this organization means so much to both of us,” the couple adds. “We know the house Dan grew up in will be a loving and supportive home to every young LGBTQ+ person who crosses the threshold.”

Also taking part in the campaign are Apple CEO Tim Cook and Utah Jazz owners Ryan and Ashley Smith. For more info, visit EncircleTogether.org.

In 2017, Reynolds launched his LOVELOUD Festival in support of LGBTQ+ youth. The initiative was documented in the 2018 film Believer.
