Dashboard Confessional is returning to the road this fall, sans electricity.

Chris Carrabba‘s band has announced an unplugged headlining tour, scheduled to launch September 8 in New Orleans. The two-month trek will conclude November 5 in Nashville.

While the shows may not feature any literal electricity, each night will surely be filled with metaphorical electricity — not only is the tour Dashboard’s first since the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic, but it also marks Carrabba’s return to the live stage after suffering serious injuries in a motorcycle accident last summer.

Dashboard did perform a streaming concert earlier this year on Valentine’s Day.
