Dave Grohl‘s “March of the Insane” is apparently set to continue this week.
According to Variety, the Foo Fighters frontman will drop a new metal EP under the moniker Dream Widow this Friday, March 25, via digital outlets. A physical release is expected to arrive later in the year.
Dream Widow is a fictional band in the new Foo Fighters horror-comedy movie Studio 666. Ahead of the film’s premiere last month, Grohl released a thrash-y song as Dream Widow called “March of the Insane,” and he told Rolling Stone that he’d hoped to release a full Dream Widow album on the same day Studio 666 hit theaters.
While that didn’t happen, you only have to wait a short while to headbang to more Dream Widow. In the meantime, you can watch Studio 666 now on-demand.
