After a week of cryptic teasing, it appears the title and release date of the upcoming new Deftones album have been uncovered.
A listing on the Apple Music New Zealand site — where today is already tomorrow — reveals the record will be called Ohms, and confirms the theorized September 25 release date. The page also includes a 30-second preview of the title track, which closes the 10-track album.
Presumably, Deftones themselves will be making the official Ohms announcement and release the full single on Friday.
Ohms is the follow-up to 2016’s Gore. Here’s the track list:
“Genesis”
“Ceremony”
“Urantia”
“Error”
“The Spell of Mathematics”
“Pompeji”
“This Link Is Dead”
“Radiant City”
“Headless”
“Ohms”
