Deftones is releasing a signature beer to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the band’s beloved 2000 album, White Pony.
Made in collaboration with the San Diego-based Belching Beaver Brewery, with whom Deftones has worked several times before, the White Pony beer is a double dry-hopped IPA boasting a seven percent ABV. You’ll also taste “intense pineapple aroma, lemon peel, and grapefruit notes.”
“Our approach to beer is similar to how we approach our music, it’s constantly changing and evolving to help ensure we’re releasing a quality product that we stand behind,” says frontman Chino Moreno. “With our wonderful partners at Belching Beaver, we’re proud to have collaborated on yet another beer that has been created with care and released with pride.”
“We hope everyone enjoys our White Pony 20th IPA, as much as we do,” he adds.
White Pony beer will be available in select U.S. states starting this Friday, August 28. For more info, visit BelchingBeaver.com.
Deftones will also be celebrating White Pony‘s 20th anniversary with special edition reissue, featuring a bonus remix disc dubbed Black Stallion.
Meanwhile, a brand-new Deftones studio album, titled Ohms, will be released on September 25.
