Deftones has earned another top-five debut on the Billboard 200 with the band’s latest album, Ohms.
The ninth studio effort from Chino Moreno and company lands right at number five on the chart with a total of 49,000 equivalent album units, 43,000 of which were traditional albums sales.
Ohms is the fourth Deftones album to chart in the top five of the Billboard 200, following 2000’s White Pony, 2003’s self-titled release and 2016’s Gore. Both self-titled and Gore peaked at number two on the chart, which marks Deftones’ high-water mark on the ranking.
This week’s Billboard 200 is led by Machine Gun Kelly, who conquered the chart for the first time in his career with his pop punk-influenced, Travis Barker-produced album Tickets to My Downfall.
