Deftones‘ partnership with San Diego-based Belching Beaver Brewery is continuing with the launch of a brand-new signature beer.
Ohms Pale Ale, named after the band’s latest album, will be available February 1 in 16 oz. 4-packs for a limited time in select cities.
According to a press release posted on Knotfest.com, Deftones frontman Chino Moreno says of the new brew, “Ohms continues our exploration in diverse flavor profiles across our collection of beers. The Belching Beaver team is constantly looking to elevate and evolve — a philosophy that we practice in all aspects of Deftones. We’re really excited for everyone to try the newest addition to the family.”
The brewery describes the flavor of the new dry-hopped pale ale as having “lemon peel, grapefruit and pineapple aromas,” as well as “some light pine,” which combines to make a “nice, light and refreshing” finish. The brew is 5.5% ABV. More details will be revealed during a Belching Beaver Instagram live on Thursday.
Deftones’ previous beer collaborations include White Pony 20th IPA, Dia de Los Deftones Mexican Lager, a brown ale called Good Morning Beautiful, and three IPAS: Phantom Bride, Swerve City and Digital Bath.
