Festive Fun in Phoenix 2021

0419E4F9-2871-4A37-89BB-366695F860A0

Completely acknowledging that Halloween has not passed yet, it is time to start thinking about what is come in the month ahead. Things are actually happening again. We are seeing seasonal festivities coming back with a big bang to make up for lost time and the holiday hungry are ready to take it all in.

Sometimes, I get so excited about the holidays, I forget to find out what is actually happening in the area. This year it is so plentiful that it’s a little overwhelming. I got this list down to 10 and it’s got a little bit for every type of person. Of course this is not a complete list… I’d never get this published if I did that. But these events aced my test- they have websites that actually give you information about them, I’ve either been to before or have received recommendations by multiple people for, and are sure to provide a festive experience.

This is what should make it onto your social calendar for the 2021 holiday season.

The Santa Social:

The Quarter will be hosting holiday fun all through the season with carolers and more on any given weekend.

Zoolights returns with another drive-thru opportunity this year! I went last year when I was in my third trimester and boy was that a game changer. If you like to stay warm and eat snacks while enjoying holiday lights then this is for you.

Though you can still walk the zoolights on different dates this year, I encourage you to give the cruise a whirl. It’s great if you got kids that like to venture off too far ahead or a baby you don’t want getting cold plus the added benefit of getting to sit and enjoy some snacks while seeing the sights.

Artisan Treasure Christmas Market:

The hobbiest in you should be excited about this! This is the place you’re going to find some truly unique things to gift out. Handmade goods, fine art, liev entertainment, baked goods, gourmet food and wine/beer tents will all be at your dispense in Surprise on November 27th.

My favorite part is that the cost can either be covered by an overly reasonable $3 cash OR you can donate 3 non-perishable food items. I LOVE THAT. Talk about the spirit of giving. This is exactly the kind of event I feel good supporting.

A new holiday tradition for the golf lover! The tournament is a charity tournament (that’s why the price is a bit high) to raise money to bring a local non-profit Christian daycare/ summer daycamp to the west valley (Surprise.) Feel good about WHY you’re having fun during the season of love and generosity.

So many things to pick around the valley, how do you choose? This year, let’s do one event that gets us a little out of our comfort zone and see what fun can happen with the spirit of Christmas circling around you. Whatever you do, lead with your heart this holiday season- I think we could ALL use some extra cheer this year after another year of hostility around the USA. Sending love to you and your family as we enter this hectic time. xoxo.
