Gerard Way has a new song in the works, and he may record it with some help from Billie Eilish.

In an Instagram post, the My Chemical Romance frontman revealed that one of his friends who’s an executive at Fender sent him the custom ukulele the guitar company made in collaboration with Eilish.

“It has a really interesting pattern on it, and you can plug it in,” Way wrote. “I’m going to plug this into a fuzz pedal and see what happens. I may report back with my findings.”

Way added that he had happened to just recently write a song about ukuleles, fittingly titled “Ukulele Song.”

“I may share that,” Way said. “I’m not sure, but if I record it, I will use this ukulele.”

He added, “Congrats on the uke, Billie!”

In July, Way released a new solo single called “Here Comes the End,” featured in the second season of The Umbrella Academy, the Netflix adaptation of his comic book series of the same name.
