Gorillaz has premiered a new song called “Strange Timez,” featuring The Cure frontman Robert Smith.

“Strange Timez” is part of the cartoon band’s Song Machine series, which includes an “ever-evolving roster of as yet unannounced collaborators.” You can download the track now via digital outlets.

Along with the new track, Gorillaz has also announced a Song Machine album. Since the series first launched this past January, each installment has been released as a one-off single, but they’ve all now been compiled into a single collection.

The album, titled Song Machine, Season One: Strange Timez, is due out on October 23. In addition to the previously released Song Machine tunes, the record will include new collaborations with Beck, St. Vincent and Elton John, among many others.

Song Machine, Season One follows the latest Gorillaz album, 2018’s The Now Now.
