Gorillaz is teaming up with Robert Smith for a new song.

The Cure frontman will guest on a track for the cartoon band’s ongoing Song Machine series. Coming up on Song Machine… It’s @RobertSmith,” Gorillaz tweeted Monday.

Gorillaz launched Song Machine back in January, promising that the project would include an “ever-evolving roster of as yet unannounced collaborators.” Guests for far have included artists ranging from former Joy Division and New Order bassist Peter Hook, rapper ScHoolboy Q and Malian musician Fatoumata Diawara.

The Cure, meanwhile, has been working on a new album, the long-awaited follow-up to 2008’s 4:13 Dream.
