grandson is getting his hands “Dirty” once again.

In a tweet late Wednesday night, the “Blood//Water” rocker revealed that he’s “back in the studio,” adding a hand-over-mouth emoji for a bit of extra mystery.

Whatever grandson’s working on in the studio, it will follow his 2020 debut album, Death of an Optimist. In 2021, he released a number of one-off singles and collaborations, including the song “Rain” with Jessie Reyez for The Suicide Squad, and “Hold the Line” with Rage Against the Machine‘s Tom Morello.

In addition to working on potential new tunes, grandson will hit the road in 2022, including opening for Imagine Dragons and Avril Lavigne, and launching his own headlining tour with support from Royal & the Serpent.
