Greta Van Fleet‘s Jake Kiszka stars in a new video celebrating the 61st anniversary of the Gibson SG guitar.

The clip finds Kiszka jamming the classic axe, which is perhaps most famously played by AC/DC‘s Angus Young, while sharing his own personal history with the SG.

“My first electric guitar was an SG with P90s, and I haven’t gone back on it since,” Kiszka says

“The ’61, this particular model, has defined me as a player and I think I’ve defined it in return,” he adds. “Moving forward with Greta Van Fleet and the SG allows me to be more dynamic and create sounds that are more outside the realm of conventional.”

You can watch the video streaming now via Gibson’s YouTube channel.

Kiszka and his SG will hit the road this spring on Greta Van Fleet’s Dreams in Gold headlining tour, kicking off March 10 in Kalamazoo, Michigan. The group will be supporting their 2021 sophomore album, The Battle at Garden’s Gate.

Greta will also be opening for Metallica‘s upcoming show in Las Vegas, taking place February 25.
