Could we be getting new Paramore music in 2022?

It sure seems that way, judging from a new newsletter from frontwoman Hayley Williams. In the note, which was posted publicly by the fan-account @ParamoreFans, Williams writes, “Paramore can’t be ‘on a break’ forever now can we?”

She adds, “See you sometime next year?”

Paramore’s most recent album is 2017’s After Laughter, and the wait for a follow-up has so far been the longest in the band’s career. Recently, Williams has been busy with her solo project, releasing two albums: 2020’s Petals for Armor, and 2021’s Flowers for Vases/Descansos.

This past February, Williams tweeted that she’d been writing more songs, but she wasn’t “planning on another solo album.”

“I’m not sure if they’d be great for Paramore,” she said. “I’m ready for the next Paramore album. Let’s go.”
