Hayley Williams has officially released her cover of Massive Attack‘s “Teardrop.”
The Paramore frontwoman originally performed the song during December’s Ally Coalition Talent Show in support of homeless LGBTQ youth. The virtual concert also featured performances by Lana Del Rey, St. Vincent, Brittany Howard and Bleachers, among others.
You can download the “Teardrop” cover now via digital outlets. Video of Williams’ performance, which featured her hair wrapped in a towel to hide her eventual return to an orange, Riot!-era color, is streaming now on YouTube.
Williams released her debut solo album, Petals for Armor, last May. She closed out 2020 with a new EP featuring acoustic versions of two Petals songs, as well as a previously unreleased track called “Find Me Here.”
