Hayley Williams’ tour in support of her debut solo album, Petals for Armor, has officially been canceled.
The outing, which was scheduled to launch this past May, was initially postponed due to the COVID-19 pandemic. In a series of tweets, the Paramore frontwoman confirms that the dates have now been scrapped entirely.
“Yes, it’s true. The remaining dates for Petals for Armor have been officially cancelled,” Williams writes. “This year has been hard on everybody for lots of different reasons. I’m sorry to add to that list…sorry for myself and for y’all.”
“There are no immediate plans to schedule new dates,” she adds. “Until promoters and venues are able to schedule shows for a less chaotic (and hopefully much safer) time. This feels like the responsible thing to do.”
Refunds are available for those who purchased tickets.
Williams released Petals for Armor in May. It includes the lead single “Simmer.”
