Earlier this year, Highly Suspect announced that they’d be releasing new music in time for their run of shows with Papa Roach, which kicked off last weekend. As it turns out, their prediction was just about a month off.
This week, the “Lydia” rockers announced that they’ll be dropping a new single called “Natural Born Killer” on June 22.
The track is available to presave now, and you can check out a preview of the song, in which frontman Johnny Stevens sings, “I’ve been having dreams about falling in love/It feels so real/But nobody’s here when I wake up,” via Highly Suspect’s Facebook.
“Natural Born Killer” will be the first new Highly Suspect song to follow the band’s 2019 album MCID, which features the singles “16” and “These Days.”
Highly Suspect’s outing with Papa Roach wraps up Thursday in San Antonio, Texas. They’ll launch a tour of Europe in June and will be back in the U.S. to play Kentucky’s Louder than Life festival in September.
