Something Like December is a three-piece alternative-rock act hailing from Tempe, AZ. The band debuted in mid-2016 with release of “Convalescent”. After being reached out to by producer Aaron Gillespie (UnderOath), SLD has spent the summer of 2016 recording/performing. The band is now preparing to release “We’ll All Die Laughing” on October 29, which sports a cornucopia of sounds ranging from mean, sludgy guitar riffs to emotional ballads reminiscent of an 80’s prom. Something Like December features Austin Jones (vocals, guitar, piano), Donovan Ryan (drums, vocals), and Chris Crimmins (bass, vocals). The band has been featured on AbsolutePunk, Idobi Radio, State Press, Phoenix New Times, and more. Something Like December aims to continue to threaten the limitations of genre and begin regional touring following the release of their new album.
