BELAGANAS

Belaganas is Homegrown’s Artist of the month. They’re an alternative hip hop and bedroom pop group made of 3 guys: vocalists Joey J and Shanker along with their drummer Nick Wille. They originally formed in Phoenix, Arizona but recently all moved to a house in Tempe together to continue creating their emotionally charged music. The trio began writing music in summer of 2016 and since then has released a number of singles detailing teen angst and punk-style anthems delivered through hip-hop sonics. Joey J of Belaganas recently called into Homegrown with Mo to talk about what they’ve been up to since quarantine and what they’re working on while clearing up a few “rumors”.
