Måneskin turned to Radiohead for inspiration on their new album, Rush!
Speaking with NME, frontman Damiano David shares how the “Creep” outfit influenced Måneskin’s approach to the upcoming record.
“I think that the inspiration we got from Radiohead was to be very focused on creating a very specific world for each song,” David says.
“It’s something they do very, very well so we tried to create these amazing atmospheres,” he continues. “They really create an image of what you’re listening to, and that gave us inspiration.”
We’ll hear how that turns out when Rush! drops January 20, 2023.
In the meantime, you can catch Måneskin live on their first U.S. headlining tour, which launched Monday in Seattle. The outing will conclude December 16 in Las Vegas.
