Imagine Dragons has premiered the video for “I Don’t Like Myself,” a track off the band’s Mercury — Acts 1 & 2 album.

The clip arrives on World Mental Health Day and is being released in partnership with the Crisis Text Line. It features footage of frontman Dan Reynolds performing in front of thousands of screaming fans, contrasted with images of him walking down the street by himself.

“I wrote this song at a very low point for me,” Reynolds says. “I struggled quite a bit with self-love over the years. I was in a deep rut of depression and turned to music for refuge. I’ve since spent many years in therapy working on self-love.”

“I believe therapy is the reason I am still alive today,” he continues. “If it’s ever a question of whether or not you should go to therapy. The answer is always yes. Stay alive.”

ID’s double Mercury album consists of 2021’s Act 1 and this year’s Act 2. It features the singles “Follow You,” “Bones” and “Enemy.”
