Interpol has premiered a new song called “Fables,” a track off the band’s upcoming album, The Other Side of Make-Believe.

“‘Fables’ features one of [guitarist] Daniel [Kessler‘s] hottest licks,” says frontman Paul Banks. “A breezy vocal with optimistic lyrics and a bouncy drum beat evocative of classic R&B with a nod to the golden age of hip-hop. It’s a summer jam and a piece of music we are particularly proud of.”

You can listen to “Fables” now via digital outlets.

“Fables” is the third track to be released from The Other Side of Make-Believe, following “Toni” and “Something Changed.” The whole album is set to arrive July 15.

Interpol will launch a U.S. tour in support of The Other Side of Make-Believe in August. Spoon will co-headline.
