Phoebe Bridgers appears to be teaming up with the one and only Taylor Swift.
On Thursday morning, the pop superstar tweeted a mysterious video featuring seemingly random jumbles of letters flying out of a red-tinted vault. Of course, being that Swift rivals Twenty One Pilots in her use of teasers and Easter eggs, the letters are anything but random, and seem to reveal the Bridgers collaboration.
For example, one of the groups of letters spells out the “Kyoto” singer’s last name. Meanwhile, the first letters of lines two through seven spell out “Phoebe.”
The Bridgers hint is one of many to be included in the series of codes, which looks to be related to Swfit’s upcoming Red (Taylor’s Version) album, an updated and expanded version of Swift’s beloved 2012 record, Red, due out November 19. The project is part of Swift’s ongoing series of rerecorded albums following the controversial acquisition of her early master recordings by high-profile manager Scooter Braun, whom she’s accused of bullying her.
With a Bridgers collaboration likely on the horizon, Swift continues her recent streak of working with alternative artists. Her 2020 surprise albums folklore and evermore were recorded with Jack Antonoff and The National‘s Aaron Dessner. The National and HAIM are also featured on evermore.
Bridgers, meanwhile, is set to appear on the upcoming new Killers album Pressure Machine, due out August 13.
