After starting off the week with a bit of controversy, Lana Del Rey has shared new music.

The singer-songwriter has debuted the title track for her upcoming album Chemtrails Over the Country Club. You can download the track now via digital outlets, and watch its video, which begins as a ’50s-style vintage clip before taking a supernatural turn, streaming now on YouTube.

As for that controversy, Del Rey revealed the Chemtrails album cover in an Instagram post on Sunday, which features her surrounded by a group of diverse women. In the post’s comments, she wrote that she’s “always been inclusive without even trying to,” adding, “My best friends are rappers my boyfriends have been rappers.”

Referring to her previous controversy last year when she named primarily women of color as being praised for recording songs with certain lyrical content while she was being accused of “glamorizing abuse,” Del Rey continued, “Before you make comments again about a WOC/POC issue, I’m not the one storming the [Capitol], I’m literally changing the world by putting my life and thoughts and love out there on the table 24 seven.”

She added, “Respect it.”

Chemtrails Over the Country Club, the follow-up to 2019’s Norman F***ing Rockwell, is due out March 19. It also includes the previously released single “Let Me Love You Like a Woman.”
