He’s already announced that his third solo album, C’MON YOU KNOW, is coming out that day, but it turns out he’s also putting out a live release called Down by the River Thames. It’s documents a livestream concert that Gallagher and his band — including Oasis guitarist and co-founder Bonehead — did on December 5, 2020 on a boat on the Thames in London.
Meanwhile, Gallagher’s dropped the title track of C’MON YOU KNOW, which features Vampire Weekend‘s Ezra Koenig on sax. The track was written by Gallagher and produced by Andrew Wyatt, the main producer on the album. Ariel Rechtshaid also contributed to the project and as previously reported, Dave Grohl co-wrote and plays drums on the single “Everything’s Electric.”
