Alice Merton has released a new song called “Blindside.”
The track will appear on the “No Roots” artist’s upcoming sophomore album, S.I.D.E.S.
“‘Blindside’ is probably one of my favorite songs on this album,” Merton says. “It’s so earnest and dark but at the same time so fun and uplifting to listen to. It mixes such a serious topic with such a fun feeling, something I love doing when writing songs.”

S.I.D.E.S., the follow-up to 2019’s Mint, arrives June 17. It also includes the previously released songs “Vertigo,” “Same Team,” “Island” and “Hero.”
