Franz Ferdinand has released a new song called “Curious.”
The track will appear on the “Take Me Out” group’s upcoming Hits to the Head best-of compilation. You can download “Curious” now via digital outlets.
“I had this idea for the lyric,” says frontman Alex Kapranos of “Curious.” “Kind of the reverse of one of those life-flashing-before-your-mind as you die in a film scene, where the entire course of a relationship flashes before you the instant you fall in love with someone.”
“Curious” is one of two brand new tunes featured on Hits to the Head, alongside the previously released “Billy Goodbye.” The compilation otherwise consists of 18 songs from throughout Franz Ferdinand’s catalog, ranging from their 2004 self-titled album to their latest effort, 2018’s Always Ascending.
Hits to the Head will be released March 11.
