Mod Sun has premiered a new song called “Battle Scars.”
The track, which is available now via digital outlets, reflects the “Flames” artist’s efforts to break a “destructive cycle.”
“I was dealing with addiction for a decade,” Mod says. “I was in relationships that I knew were destroying who I really was. I went to war with myself and came out on top. I’m so proud of where I am today and this song really helped me get there.”
“Battle Scars” is set to appear on Mod Sun’s next album, the follow-up to 2021’s Internet Killed the Rockstar. The upcoming record will also feature the previously released songs “Perfectly Imperfect” and “Rich Kids Ruin Everything.”
Mod Sun will hit the road in September touring alongside blackbear and Palaye Royale.
