Tomahawk, one of Faith No More frontman Mike Patton‘s many projects, has released a new song called “Dog Eat Dog.”

The track, which is available now for digital download, is accompanied by an unsettling video featuring a brutally violent fight between two humans cut with footage of adorable dogs. You can watch that streaming now on YouTube.

In describing “Dog Eat Dog,” Patton says, “Dogs patiently wait, obediently, for humans to snuff each other out…so they can take over the world. Dogs rule!!!!” Can’t argue with that.

“Dog Eat Dog” will appear on the upcoming Tomahawk album Tonic Immobility, due out March 26. It’s the group’s first record in eight years.

Tomahawk also includes Patton’s Mr. Bungle band mate Trevor Dunn, Duane Denison of The Jesus Lizard, and Helmet‘s John Stanier.
