The Head and the Heart has released a new song called “Tiebreaker,” which will appear on the band’s upcoming album, Every Shade of Blue.
Vocalist/guitarist Jonathan Russell describes the tune as “like a carnival ride through a wide variety of characters and relationships.”
“Lovers laughing uncontrollably, a married couple bickering, teenagers falling for each other in the moment,” Russell says. “It makes you wonder — what do we all have in common?”

“Tiebreaker” is the third song from Every Shade of Blue to be released, following the single “Virginia (Wind in the Night)” and the title track. The whole album arrives April 29.
The Head and the Heart will launch a U.S. tour in support of Every Shade of Blue in May.
