Yungblud has put his spin on the Madonna classic “Like a Virgin.”
The U.K. rocker chose the cover for his brand-new Spotify Singles release. He explains that he picked “Like a Virgin” in an effort to “be completely out of the box yet make absolute sense all at the same time.”
“Madonna is a massive idol of mine, I admire every move she artistically made,” Yungblud says. “I wanted to take the classic, add some Yungblud energy and shake it the f*** up!”
“This is a song I heard growing up,” he adds. “My mum and my sisters used to play it all the time so that added real pressure to get it right!”
Yungblud’s Spotify Singles also includes a stripped-down recording of his song “Mars,” a cut from his 2020 sophomore album Weird!
