Lorde‘s new album Solar Power debuted in the top five on the Billboard 200.

The latest effort from the New Zealand artist enters the chart at number five, with a total of 56,000 equivalent album units, 34,000 of which were traditional album sales.

All three of Lorde’s studio records have reached the top five on the Billboard 200, but Solar Power has so far been her lowest charting full-length release. Her 2013 debut, Pure Heroine, hit number three, while 2017’s Melodrama debuted at number one.

Solar Power, which reunites Lorde with her Melodrama producer Jack Antonoff, was released August 20. Lorde will launch a U.S. tour in support of the album in April 2022.
