Having already succeeded in the worlds of music and film, Machine Gun Kelly is now setting his sights on another medium.

The “Bloody Valentine” rocker is releasing a graphic novel called Hotel Diablo in collaboration with Z2 Comics. It’s based on Kelly’s 2019 album of the same name, and tells the story of the Hotel Diablo, a “waystation for the soul — a place where your deeds in life are the keys to your eternity in the afterlife.”

Z2 Comics is known for its collaborations with musicians, including Kelly’s good buddy Yungblud, as well as Gorillaz, Sublime and All Time Low.

You can pre-order Hotel Diablo now via Z2Comics.com.

The album Hotel Diablo came out before MGK went full pop-punk with 2020’s Tickets to My Downfall, but previewed his rock influences with songs such as “I Think I’m OKAY,” featuring Yungblud and Blink-182‘s Travis Barker. Barker, of course, would later reunite with Kelly to produce Tickets.

News of the Hotel Diablo graphic novel follows an eventful few weeks for Kelly, including his debut performance on Saturday Night Live last weekend and the premiere of his Downfalls High musical film in January.
