Machine Gun Kelly sets sights on playing Super Bowl halftime show

Machine Gun Kelly‘s been experiencing a lot of firsts over the last couple months. He played his first Saturday Night Live, earned his first number-one album with Tickets to My Downfall, and won his first MTV VMA. Now, he’s hoping to add another first to his resume.

In a tweet Sunday, the “Bloody Valentine” rocker declared, “We will play the super bowl halftime show within the next few years.”

Kelly also added some praise for this year’s halftime show performer, The Weeknd. “That halftime show was harrrrrrd @theweeknd,” he wrote, along with a pair of fire emojis.

While we wait for MGK’s halftime premonition to come true, you can watch his new musical film Downfalls High, which premiered last month.

In related news, Kelly has launched a new line of Valentine’s Day merch, which includes a shirt featuring him and girlfriend Megan Fox making out above the line “She loves a boy so much she wants him to steal her breath,” which is a lyric from the Tickets song “Banyan Tree (Interlude).”

The line also includes some NSFW items, including a “Lil’ Devil” sex toy.

The Valentine’s Day merch is available now to order through Kelly’s web store.
