One of the top fears of any car owner is to walk outside and discover that his or her car is missing.  Machine Gun Kelly lived through the nightmare last week when his Aston Martin was reportedly stolen out of his driveway in Los Angeles.

Good news is, police recovered the vehicle on Sunday.

TMZ reports that LAPD recognized the purple Aston Martin when it passed by them while out on patrol.  The troopers were unable to pursue the vehicle at the time and, luckily, came across it parked with the engine running later that night.

No arrests have been made in connection with the theft and no suspects have been identified at this time.

The Aston Martin, which police impounded, was reportedly found in good condition.  MGK has not yet picked up the vehicle.

Jeff Lewis of Flipping Out fame was first to reveal that the “bloody valentine” singer’s sports car was missing.

The real estate mogul revealed last week on Jeff Lewis Live that the new owner of his old home, which is next to MGK’s estate, was asked to review the property’s surveillance footage to see if it captured anything suspicious.

Aston Martins are among the most expensive cars, with the price of their most basic model starting at $149,000.
