Marilyn Manson has broken his silence after ex-girlfriend Evan Rachel Wood publicly identified him as her abuser.

Following Wood’s claims that Manson “horrifically abused me for years” in a Monday statement, at least four other women came forward with allegations of abuse against “The Beautiful People” singer.

Manson, born Brian Warner, issued a statement late Monday regarding the fallout and called the accusations, “horrible distortions of reality.”

“Obviously, my art and my life have long been magnets for controversy, but these recent claims about me are horrible distortions of reality,” the 52-year-old rocker stated, opting against directly referencing Wood or the other four women. 

However, the style of his announcement — black letters against a white background — mirrors the public statement Wood issued earlier in the day.

“My intimate relationships have always been entirely consensual with like-minded partners,” Manson concluded. “Regardless of how – and why – others are now choosing to misrepresent the past, that is the truth.

The singer has since turned off the comments for his public post.

Neither Wood nor Manson’s other accusers have reacted to his statement.

As previously reported, the Westworld actress claimed Manson “brainwashed and manipulated [her] into submission.”

“He started grooming me when I was a teenager and horrifically abused me for years,” Wood wrote.

After her public remarks, several of Manson’s exes came forward to not only back up Wood’s disturbing claims but to detail the abuse they allegedly suffered by his hand, as well.

The fallout was swift.  Manson’s record label — Loma Vista Recordings — dropped him as a client in the wake of the controversy.  In addition, an upcoming Creepshow episode featuring Manson has since been pulled from broadcast and will not air.
