While morning TV probably isn’t the first place you’d expect to find Maynard James Keenan, the Tool frontman popped up in a segment on ABC’s Good Morning America during Friday’s broadcast.

The clip focused on Arizona tourism as part of GMA‘s larger series spotlighting what you can now do and visit as states across the U.S. begin reopening. Amid details of horseback riding, rock climbing and, of course, the Grand Canyon, the segment also dives into Arizona’s growing wine scene, and specifically gives a shout-out to Keenan’s own winery in Jerome, Arizona.

“The process of making wine and making music, for me, is very similar,” Keenan says. “It’s a lot of metaphorically and literally listening.”

As for the making music, Keenan’s most recent release is his new album with Puscifer, Existential Reckoning, which dropped last fall. The band just played a streaming concert earlier this month.
