An enterprising My Chemical Romance fan has created a Lego set inspired by the band’s “Welcome to the Black Parade” video.

The 600-piece set includes Minifigure versions of Gerard Way and company standing atop a float modeled after the one seen in the iconic clip. It was created by a user named VNMBricks for the Lego Ideas program, which allows fans to submit their own proposals that could become real Lego sets if it receives enough fan votes.

One particularly notable supporter is My Chem guitarist Frank Iero, who shared an Instagram post endorsing the idea and encouraging other fans to vote, as well.

“I’m losing my mind at how crazy rad it is!” Iero wrote. “I for one have already gone to the @Lego website and voted for this thing because it would be the greatest experience getting to build this with my son, Miles.”

Currently, the set has over 10,000 supporters, meaning it will now go on to the “expert review” stage before a new Lego Ideas winner is officially announced. You can check it now via Ideas.Lego.com.

A My Chemical Romance Lego set would probably be nice for the many fans who had tickets to see the band’s reunion tour, which has now been postponed to 2022 due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
